Inspection – Evaluation – Advice
01.
Pre-purchase surveys and valuations
We offer consulting to facilitate the purchase of boats and yachts, through a complete technical analysis of the vessel to ensure that it meets all safety and performance standards. From initial inspection to negotiation, our goal is to help our clients make informed and confident decisions. We evaluate all critical systems, including hull and deck, technical equipment, engines/propulsion, rigging, electrical and onboard systems, accommodation, etc., to provide a detailed report that allows informed decisions to be
made about the condition of the vessel.
02.
Insurance Surveys
Insurance reports are designed to comprehensively assess the safety and structural integrity of the vessel before issuing or renewing a policy. In case of incidents, we handle claims, assessing the damage and proposing appropriate repairs, with an impartial and professional approach.

04.
Benefits of a survey.
1. Why a survey ?
A survey allows us to obtain objective data on the true condition of the vessel.
It often happens that buyers fall in love with a boat and overlook its defects.
With our evaluation you will know what you are buying or why it is better not to buy.
After our examination you will be able to get a fair price by saving costs that nearly always exceed the price of our work.
2. What does a survey consist of?
Prior to the survey, the vessel must have a clean, unpainted underwater hull and, ideally, be on the hard to allow reliable moisture measurements. However, the vessel can also be lifted during the survey, but measurements cannot be taken.
We check the whole yacht, i.e. hull, deck and structure, steering system, transmissions, through hull fittings and seacocks, etc. In the case of a sailboat, we examine all the rigging at deck level.
Engines and generators are externally verified; oil analysis or compression tests can be organised if required.
We also take a close look at the electrics, electronics and interior as well as the safety equipment.
We literally crawl into every nook and cranny of the yacht!
All defects will be evaluated with a suggestion or recommendation and a photo.
If a broker organises the sale, we will be happy to contact him to arrange the survey. We would need at
least one full day for a survey, which ends with a preliminary verbal briefing. The report will be sent to
you by email within five working days after the visit.
